The Unit for Pesticide Science (UPS) addresses the health and
environmental concerns relating to the use of pesticides, identifying risks and
developing risk reduction and remedial strategies. The Unit has three research
programmes that cover the environmental behaviour of pesticides as well as the
risk of exposure of such pesticides to human health and the environment.
