Bacterial PCR laboratory is one of the research and diagnostic units within the Diagnostic Services program of the ARC-OVR. The laboratory primarily offers diagnostic services for molecular based detection of bacterial pathogens as well as strain typing using Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR). The research component of the unit focuses on projects that will contribute towards animal health improvement as well as food security and safety initiatives.
