A two day EXCEL2010 training Workshop
The aim of this workshop is to assist students and researchers use Excel 2010 to create statistical field plans and to test for ANOVA assumptions; to calculate Student’s t-LSD and assign a, b, c letters to non-significant ranges; to represent result in tables and graphs with LSD’s added; to perform regression and correlation analysis; to use pivot tables to summarize data and check data for coding errors and to apply graphic’s efficiently for different situations. The student will perform the above on hand and will also be given some exercises for the different topics discussed.

Guidelines for choosing research methods, sampling methods and experimental designs
The target group is Agricultural Students or researchers that had to perform their own research project – the aim of the course is to provide them with statistical guidelines to be able to help themselves or to speak the same language as the statistician who assist them. The course is based on questions researchers ask though many years of experience also for the researcher to answer the questions the statistician will ask to assist him to do proper experimental planning.
