Precision Agriculture is a relative new field of agricultural engineering to provide modern solutions in reducing input cost and eliminating chemical pollution. An example is that a farmer could be applying fertilizers in a selective manner taking into consideration the soil conditions and yield potential of the land using satelite technology. Another example is by using electronic skills to develop and control systems and devices for the agricultural sector.
