The theme of the Conference is
"Science transforming food systems for a better future". It will broadly cover the following sub-themes:

We anticipate the participation of approximately 400 individuals from South Africa and around the world in the Conference, both in-person and virtually. There are 44 exhibition spaces available on a 'first come first served' basis. Various stakeholders, including government executives and officials, policymakers (Portfolio Committee, NCOP), scientists, researchers, academia, farmers, civil society, women and youth representatives, business professionals, other science councils, and investment agencies, will be present at the Conference. Their collective presence aims to contribute to discussions on how research and development, science, and innovation can effectively address both local and global development challenges and agendas. |
