Schizomids


SOUTH AFRICAN NATIONAL SURVEY OF ARACHNIDA
 



The schizomids are very small arachnids usually smaller than 3 mm and very rare. They occur in the warmer tropical regions of the world and about 200 species are known. From South Africa a single species,

Lawrence, has been described, from Dukuduku in KwaZulu-Natal in 1947.
